Product Advertising API 5.0 Scratchpad

Scratchpad is a tool to help Amazon Associates send basic requests to the Product Advertising API. Follow the steps below and you can have a working request with sample code in minutes.

Getting Started

  1. If you have not already registered, sign up for the Associate program and Product Advertising API.
  2. After you have your Partner Tag (Store/Tracking ID) and Credentials (Access Key and Secret Key), choose an operation from the left panel.
  3. Type the request parameters and choose Run request.
  4. Under the Response section, locate the returned response.

Common parameters

The locale where you are making the request.

The type of Amazon business entity.

Tag that uniquely identifies you as a Partner. In case of Associates, enter your Store Id.

Your Access Key which uniquely identifies you.

A key that is used in conjunction with the Access Key to cryptographically sign an API request. To retrieve your Access Key or Secret Key, refer to Becoming Product Advertising API Developer.
